I was able to be a part of a beautiful wedding in Emporia Kansas this past weekend. If your like me, you think Kansas and not much other than Tornados come to mind. But I have been so pleasantly surprised with everything here in the middle of Kansas. It is green and lush, and just plain beautiful! The entire drive was rolling hills with beautiful farm land. I’m glad to have gotten the chance to see it, thanks to Barry and Ashley.

What a beautiful wedding here in Wamego Kansas. Brittney was the first bride who contacted me here in Kansas. I did her and Davids engagement pictures as my first photo session, and they are my first wedding here, so they are pretty special to me. The day couldn’t have been more beautiful. There was just enough cloud coverage to cool it off. Well…it was still about 86 degrees with 99% humidity, but it wasn’t 95 degrees ) It was a wonderful day, and I’m so blessed to have been there to capture it.

Just before smashing the cake into each others faces…Katie asked her groom if they were going to be mean and he strongly said “No, no way” So I was not prepared for the next moment…but I still got this =)

While we were downtown, there was a huge car show going on…we came near the end of it and a really sweet man let the bride and groom sit in his car for some pictures.

I was so excited that a friend from high school asked me to do her wedding…even more so when I met up with both of them a few months back to go over details…it was obvious that they are truly in love and that makes my job that much easier! It was a beautiful wedding on the roof top of the Hassayampa hotel in down town Prescott. Enjoy the pictures & Congratulations Bill & Amber!

WOW! What a sweet sweet wedding! Im so so glad I was able to be apart of this beautiful day! I was in tears a few times throughout the day and I hadnt even known this sweet couple before!
